Frequently Asked Questions

We are delighted to work with schools across England, delivering engaging workshops that support pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal development throughout the academic year. We understand that organising enrichment activities within a busy school environment requires careful planning, so we have compiled answers to some of the questions we are most frequently asked by teachers, school leaders, and administrators.

Below, you will find information about our workshops, including session timings, space requirements, class sizes, preparation, safeguarding, and insurance. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, or would like to discuss how we can tailor our workshops to meet the specific needs of your school, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team. We are always happy to help.

How To Book?

Our workshops are available to schools across England throughout the academic year. We are committed to delivering engaging, educational, and inclusive learning experiences that support students' development and wellbeing. Whether you are seeking hands-on activities, interactive sessions, or curriculum-enhancing opportunities, our programmes are designed to inspire and engage learners of all ages. We look forward to supporting your school on its educational and wellbeing journey.

Preparing for the DAY

What are the space requirements?

For workshops delivered on school premises, we ideally require access to the school hall to provide sufficient space for activities. However, we are happy to use a classroom if necessary, provided that furniture can be moved or cleared to allow pupils to participate safely and move freely throughout the session.

What do we need to do before the workshop?

Prior to the workshop, a member of our team will contact you to confirm your timetable, workshop selections, and any preferred themes or focus areas. To ensure the smooth delivery of the sessions, we will require access to the school hall (or a similarly sized space) and a sound system. Full details and requirements will be outlined in your confirmation email.

Do the children need to be in PE kit?

Children are not required to wear PE kit for our workshops. All sessions are practical and involve active participation, but we have found that pupils are comfortable and able to engage fully while wearing their usual school uniform. We recommend that children participate barefoot where appropriate, or wear plimsolls for comfort and safety.

Structure of the Day

How long are the workshops?

Our workshops for EYFS through to KS2 typically last between 30 and 40 minutes, providing an engaging and age-appropriate learning experience for pupils. We also offer a selection of specialist workshops, including teacher wellbeing sessions, as well as a dedicated 30-minute workshop designed specifically for nursery-aged children.

How many classes can you work with in one day?

We can deliver workshops to up to seven classes during a full school day. If you would like sessions for fewer classes, we can arrange a half-day visit. For larger schools requiring workshops for more than seven classes, we are happy to schedule visits across multiple consecutive days.

How many children can participate in each session?

Our dance and drama workshops are designed to be delivered to children within their usual class groups, typically around 30 pupils per session. This approach ensures that every child can actively participate, receive individual support where needed, and fully engage with the workshop leader throughout the session.

SAFETY

Are the workshop leaders DBS checked?

Yes. All of our workshop leaders, dancers, and facilitators hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate. They will bring their DBS documentation and photographic identification with them when visiting your school.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes. We hold all relevant insurance policies, including public liability insurance, to ensure our workshops are delivered safely and professionally within your school environment.
